Welcome to the Hull University Boat Club website where you can find information about the club, training schedules, events fixtures for the 2014/2015 season, along with details on how to join and a great deal of other exciting news which we hope you will find useful.
HUBC, situated on the river Hull, is a continually developing athletics unit. It accommodates University students and has an extended membership for recreational, novice and experienced rowers alike. The club provides adequate arrangement for either those who prefer partaking in a competitive sport or merely wish to be involved in a fantastic social environment.
We all know that freshers flu is not the only thing to look forward to during freshers week!
Remember, if you are already thinking of rowing with the Hull University Boat Club (HUBC), then come and find us at the AU Fayre on Tuesday 30th September 2014. Situated on the University campus, in a massive white marquee with lots of stalls and hoards of people, it is basically impossible to miss!
But do not get distracted by the other false luring, false cheering and false smiling athletic union clubs competing for your name. Instead, turn up to the HUBC stand and you will get the opportunity to meet current members, find out more about rowing as a sport and obtain all the necessary information needed to register with the most exciting AU club at University!
For those unable to attend the AU Fayre, DON’T PANIC!!! HUBC welcomes everyone to the ‘new members meeting’ in Sanctuary Bar at 2pm on Sunday 6th October.
